As Matt McNamara and Sean McNamara are heading up to take diving lessons for the first time, they are about to go and Sean sees child presence of Matt as a child. This episode in particular explored the theme of escaping death, the car crash Sean was involved with, it got him thinking about that aspect of the life. Sean wanted to eat something they never ate with the family before, like deciding to order fugu in the restaurant. Later on, he thinks diving would be next thing to do with his son. His final decision was not to participate in diving and tells Matt about it.
